谷口助教が天然物化学談話会奨励賞を受賞

化学生物学研究室の谷口透助教が第47回天然物化学談話会（熊本）において、「VCD励起子キラリティー法を始めとする、天然物化学におけるキラル分光法の発展」の研究業績について、天然物化学談話会奨励賞を受賞しました。北海道大学から本賞を受賞したのは今
回が初めてです。

授賞式は第54回天然有機化合物討論会（東京）にて行われました。
Assistant professor Tohru Taniguchi has received "Young Scientist's Research Award in Natural Product Chemistry" at the 47th Natural Product Chemistry Meeting for his achievement in "Development of Chiroptical Methods such as the VCD Exciton Chirality Method". This award has been established to promote young scientists (34 or younger) who have made a remarkable contribution to the development of natural product chemistry or bioorganic chemistry and are expected to lead these research fields. This is the first time this award was given to a researcher at Hokkaido University.
